Message from the Chair

 

As one of my duties as Chairperson of Polk County finest non-profit organization, Jewett Alumni Association, Incorporation, I want to thank all of you for the honor and privilege to serve as Madam Chair. I send a warm heartfelt thank you to my admin team, the board, our sponsors, and this find community for their support. Giving back to the organization and community that did so much for me and my family has been a rewarding experience that has sharpened, shaped and broaden my focus. Although this is no easy job, it is rewarding for the community and myself. I will always be grateful for the opportunity. In 2021, we celebrated 35 years of being -Here for good! It was a wonderful opportunity to relive our founding and all the great things accomplished by our friends, donors, featured classes, city of Winter Haven, retailers, and staff of JAA We thank everyone who has been a part of our success. We could not have done it without you! It is a new year, and we were excited to begin 2022 with a new strategic plan. The finding of this plan revealed what we are doing right and where we can improve. Those who participated helped clarify who we are, what we do, and why it matters. Thank you for taking the time to share your valued input. Again, we are so excited to share with you the driving force behind our plan, our mission, and core value to serve this community and make a child’ higher education dream come true.
